Manager's Note
Dear Customer
The Global Network Partners' meeting in Amsterdam with Intergraph's management team was unfortunately cancelled last month due to volcanic action. However, the meeting was subsequently conducted via a web link at the beginning of May when Intergraph presented their plans for product development and future positioning. This highlighted some exciting plans for the integration of CAD and analysis software over the coming months and years, in addition to the further development of all products. When specific details are released by Intergraph we will include these in our Newswires.
Best wishes

Hints & Tips
Editing drawn CADWorx components
Sometimes it is necessary to reposition drawn CADWorx components, such that they align exactly with other components. This can be achieved using the ‘Stretch’ command and using a crossing window selection of components to be repositioned. After selecting an appropriate base point, the FROM command and Offset option can be used to specify the exact location of components.
Adding Bolting information to piping
(at gaskets)
The command AUTOBOLT will assign stud bolt sets with similar sizes and specifications to all gaskets in the crossing or window. This option will insert a stud bolt set at every gasket located within the chosen window or crossing. Gaskets of different sizes and specifications will be automatically handled.
The command PLACEBOLT allows the insertion of stud bolt sets into the drawing environment for bill of materials extraction. The standard option allows the user to insert a stud bolt set anywhere. This option requires that the size and specification are set accordingly.
NONSTDBOLT allows the user to insert a non-standard stud bolt set anywhere. Promptsl allow for the insertion of special bolts. This option requires that the size and specification are both set. For continuity, bolts should be added to gaskets.
