Dear Customer
This month sees representatives from Fern and other Global Network Partners meeting with Intergraph’s Senior Strategic Presidents and Vice Presidents to co-ordinate planning for future business and product development. We will keep you informed in future Newswires.

I-Configure Webinar
Setting up and configuring ISOGEN Projects can now be done using I-Configure. I-Configure provides a graphical user interface, including a number of drawing setup wizards which allow the placement of data (such as cut lists, Material Lists and Project attributes) on the isometric by simply dragging to position on the drawing border template.
Watch the I-Configure webinar for a demonstration on how to setup, navigate, and edit Styles and how to successfully migrate projects from ISOGEN Project Manager. The webinar is presented by Sonia Delgadillo of Intergraph.

Order Processing, Software Update Codes etc
Intergraph’s recent acquisition of COADE has resulted in
the introduction of new US export documentation to comply with the tighter US regulations.
Fern’s customers have become used to next day delivery or even same day delivery for update codes. However, delivery times from the US have increased, with even code clearances taking up to a week.
We would ask you to take this into account when ordering.
AFT deliveries are currently being maintained at 2-3 working days.
Hints & Tips
ISOGEN Start Point
To specify which end of a pipe run is the start point for ISOGEN Isometrics, use the command ISOGENSTARTPT to place a Start Point. ISOGEN will process the components starting at the specified point. Note that the component inserted must be at the extreme end point of all the components to be exported to ISOGEN.
Edit Multiple Steel Members
Two options are available when editing multiple Steel members, SGCEDIT and SGCEDITALL.
Use SGCEDIT to edit component information for all selected steel members. Information such as description/material etc. can be changed via this command.
Use SGCEDITALL to edit all component information including changing the shape, data file and member size, insertion location and rotation angle for multiple steel members.
All steel members are grouped and edited depending on the steel shape and member size.
Add new Sizes to List
Where a new specification has been created in CADWorx which uses non-standard sizes, to be able to select these new sizes quickly, open the SetSizeM.tbl file and add the required sizes.
Note: metric/imperial uses SetSizeA.tbl file, imperial uses the SetSize.tbl file.
Both are found in C:\CADWorx 2010\Plant\System or C:\CADWorx 2010\P&ID\System.
The new sizes will now be available from the size dialog within CADWorx.
