Dear Customer

Well, we are still in the shadow of winter so in a quiet time for new products and program updates. 

AFT continues to develop at a pace, so keep up to date with changes so that you do not miss opportunities to benefit from their products. 

Intergraph’s acquisition of COADE has increased administration issues on new licences and we apologise for this, but we do expect this to be a transient problem that will soon settle down to a "normal" expectation.  Lots of training courses are available and some are already close to full, so early action is recommended. 

If you are a skier, enjoy the weather.  Otherwise, roll on Spring.

CADWorx P&ID Upgrade

The CADWorx P&ID which is included in CADWorx Plant Pro now has an upgrade path to CADWorx P&ID Professional.

COADE will allow any customer who qualifies for the free CADWorx P&ID, to upgrade this licence to CADWorx P&ID Professional.

• The first year maintenance contract will be included in the upgrade price, with the contract beginning at the date of the upgrade order.
• Customers will be able to renew maintenance, at standard pricing, after the first year inclusive contract expires .
• The upgraded P&ID Professional can be placed on its own lock at the time of upgrade.

CADWorx P&ID Text correction

Use the Text Correction utility to edit the attributes on a symbol in CADWorx P&ID.

This utility provides options for flipping text along the X or Y axes, or alternatively rotating the text about a specified angle.  Additionally, the text can be repositioned, moved to a new layer or change the height. Multiple attributes can be edited in one command.

SPECVIEW Palette without drop down lists

The SPECVIEW palette can be used to set the line numbering system and enter values into the fields.   Left clicking in the field provides a drop down list, which can be set up using the drop down setup dialog. 

If you wish to set the value for one or more line number fields to a value which is not in the drop down list, simply right click into the field to enable text editing.

CADWorx fieldPipe for CloudWorx

When using CADWorx fieldPipe for CloudWorx, remember to use the NODE OSNAP when picking points on the point cloud to get the best results.
